Today, I saw the following article, IBM to set Watson loose on cancer genome data | Ars Technica. It’s great to see IBM’s Watson move into things like cancer research and treatments.
And while this type of research is great for big businesses too, it’s the healthcare implications that excite me the most.
So I’ve finally decided that I want to get my personal blog up and running once again. I had started some time ago, but then some script kiddies got the best of my hosting provider and it’s taken some years to get started again.
I’ll try logging some of my personal projects here, along with whatever thoughts I wish to post. It’ll take some time to build up a worth while page, but that’s half the fun, right?
I finally decided to get started once again, because, well, I want to build a couple of plugins and a better responsive theme for WordPress than you’d typically find on the market. Not because I think the ones out there are terrible, only that they’re not what I want.
So that’s it — not much of a first post, but how much boring speak do you wish to see here anyways?
